Texas A&M University–Texarkana professor Dr. Larry Davis has been honored as a 2024–2025 Regents Professor by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.
The award recognizes employees who make extraordinary contributions to their university and the state. Davis is one of 17 Regents Professors announced this week.
Dr. Davis has taught at A&M–Texarkana for 53 years and was one of the university’s first faculty members. He previously earned Distinguished Faculty honors and the 2024–2025 Honors Excellence in Teaching award. University President Dr. Ross Alexander praised Davis as a beloved educator whose decades of service have influenced countless students.
