The City of Texarkana has issued a boil water notice that went in to effect yesterday after low water pressure in the system.
The notice, required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, affects areas including Summerhill Road between Galleria Oaks and North Park, Moores Lane, Woodmont Crossing, Medical Parkway, Oak Bend, and parts of North Park Road.
Residents should boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and washing hands for at least two minutes before use. Bottled water may also be used.
