Harvest Regional Food Bank will distribute shelf-stable food boxes and fresh produce Wednesday, December 17, to help meet hunger relief needs across the Texarkana area.
The drive-through distribution runs from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., or until supplies are gone, at four locations: Lifehouse Ministries and the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana, Arkansas, and Mt. Sinai House of Prayer and First Methodist Church’s Summerhill Campus in Texarkana, Texas.
Households are limited to one box per family, with a maximum of two households per vehicle.
Volunteers are needed for packing, traffic control, and distribution. Anyone able to help, even for one hour, is encouraged to contact Harvest Regional Food Bank at 870-774-1398.
Harvest CEO Camille Wrinkle says the effort helps reach families on both sides of the state line during a critical time of need.
