Texarkana, Texas Police have identified the victim in an early morning homicide last week as 22-year-old Trewan Sanders of Texarkana. Officers responded to a 911 call around 4:51 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Nolthenius Street, where they found Sanders dead just inside the door of a home from an apparent gunshot wound.
Detectives later arrested 17-year-old Kamarion Fricks of Ashdown, Arkansas, charging him with murder. He’s now booked into the Bi-State Jail. Police say the investigation is still in its early stages as they work to determine what led to the shooting.
