Maud Texas Woman Accused of Sexual Assault of Two Children

47 year old Brandy Kay Attaway of Maud Texas is facing charges of aggravated sexual assault of a 7-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy in Bowie County.

47 year old Brandy Kay Attaway of Maud Texas is facing charges of aggravated sexual assault of a 7-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy in Bowie County.

Attaway was arrested Friday following an investigation by the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office that began in late January.

If found guilty, Attaway is facing five to 99 years or life in prison on
each of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Bail has been set at $500,000

The Bowie County Public Defender’s Office is representing Attaway. The case
has been assigned to 202nd District Judge John Tidwell.
