The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a phone scam making the rounds again. Scammers are calling people, claiming to be from the sheriff’s office and saying they owe fines or have a warrant for missing court or jury duty.
Officials say the caller is using the name “Adam Anderson,” but no such employee exists. The sheriff’s office reminds everyone they never call about warrants — deputies will come in person if needed.
If you receive one of these calls, hang up and report it to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office.
