Texarkana police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman wanted in connection with a large payday loan fraud investigation.
Officers say 32-year-old Tatyana Fisher has a felony warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity. Investigators say she was involved in a scheme where two payday loan employees allegedly created nearly 200 fake loans in other people’s names, stealing more than $150,000 from the company.
Detectives say Fisher helped create forged bank statements and other documents to make the fake loan applications appear legitimate.
She also has a probation violation warrant tied to a previous assault conviction and a misdemeanor warrant in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. Tips can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
