Texarkana Texas Police are asking for help identifying suspected scammers who targeted an elderly resident in the Highland Park neighborhood last Thursday.

Texarkana Texas Police are asking for help identifying suspected scammers who targeted an elderly resident in the Highland Park neighborhood last Thursday.

Police say three men offered a free roof inspection, claiming to work for a local roofing company that is no longer in business. After saying major repairs were needed, the suspects took the victim’s money and left without doing any work.

The suspects are described as three white males, one wearing a fluorescent work shirt, driving a silver or charcoal gray Ford pickup.

Anyone with information or security camera footage is asked to contact Detective Jennifer Billingsley at 903-798-3116.
