Red River Credit Union is alerting members about a new text message scam.

Red River Credit Union is alerting members about a new text message scam. Victims are receiving texts claiming a $1,344 transfer was made and directing them to click a link to cancel.

RRCU says these messages are fraudulent, not from the credit union, and may show different amounts or names.
Officials urge anyone who receives the message to delete it immediately and never click the link or share personal information.
