Police in Texarkana, Arkansas, have identified a suspect in the stabbing of a FedEx delivery driver earlier this week.

Authorities say 19-year-old Markavioun Whitmore is accused of stabbing the driver during a confrontation March 3 at the EZ Mart in the 3400 block of East 9th Street. Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Whitmore with second-degree battery, a felony.
Investigators say a criminal defense attorney, Zoe Jackson of Little Rock, was also arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence. Police allege she removed the knife used in the stabbing from the scene.
Jackson appeared in court and was released on a $50,000 bond. Police say Whitmore is still wanted and anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
