Texas A&M University–Texarkana is celebrating its fifth consecutive semester of record-breaking enrollment. University President Ross Alexander says enrollment has grown nearly 45% since Fall 2023 — the fastest growth rate in the Texas A&M system.
To keep up, TAMUT is adding new academic buildings, student housing, and athletic facilities, while expanding scholarships, programs, and partnerships with community colleges and local schools. The university also just held its first-ever summer graduation to accommodate more graduates.
Fall classes begin Monday. More details are at tamut.edu.
