Two men have been indicted in connection to a deadly shooting in Texarkana. Benjamin Cole Brem, 24, and Phajae Lajonte Moore, 19, face murder and aggravated assault charges for a May 10 shooting that killed 21-year-old Jaylon Betts and injured a 52-year-old man. Police say the victims may not have been the intended targets.
Brem also faces charges for allegedly choking a former girlfriend and for an armed robbery at the Red River Credit Union, where $98,000 was stolen. Both men remain jailed in Bowie County on over $1 million bond.
