Texarkana Regional Airport has been named the 2025 Airport Project of the Year in the “Terminal – Small Commercial” category by Airport Business Magazine. The honor recognizes the airport’s major terminal expansion and modernization project, aimed at improving the passenger experience and supporting regional economic growth.
The upgraded terminal offers more space, modern amenities, and improved operations. Executive Director Paul Mehrlich credited the achievement to the hard work of the airport team and partners WDD Architects, Nabholz Corporation, and McClelland Consulting Engineers.
The project is expected to help attract new airlines, boost regional connectivity, and strengthen the airport’s role as a transportation hub.
