A Texarkana woman is facing an aggravated assault charge after a man was found stabbed and unconscious following a crash at a College Drive apartment complex.
Police say 22-year-old Ilana Fulton was arrested May 11 at the River Crossing Apartments. Officers found a 28-year-old man with a stab wound to his back after he crashed into an air conditioning unit.
Fulton, who shares two children with the victim, claimed the man stabbed himself. But hospital staff said the wound couldn’t have been self-inflicted.
She remains in the Bowie County jail on $100,000 bond. If convicted, she faces up to life in prison.
