The Texarkana Texas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating two people wanted on felony animal cruelty warrants.

Police say 37-year-old Rebecca Cummings and 40-year-old Coty Nipper are accused of leaving 14 cats locked inside a home on Magnolia Street after being evicted. Officers responding to an animal welfare check reportedly found the cats had been without food or water for nearly a month. All 14 animals died from starvation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Texarkana Texas Police at 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
