The United Kingdom has received its first two M270A2 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems during a ceremony at Red River Army Depot.

The delivery marks the start of the UK’s plan to field 61 upgraded launchers as part of a long-running partnership with Red River, Lockheed Martin, and the U.S. Army’s STORM Project Office.

Officials say the new systems offer improved precision, protection, and easier maintenance. The ceremony also highlighted recent training where UK soldiers learned the upgraded equipment. Red River leaders said the work showcases the depot’s ongoing role in modernizing and supporting allied forces.
