Michael Alexander Flores was arrested Friday on a charge of permitting or facilitating an escape. He’s being held in the Bowie County Jail on a 75-thousand-dollar bond.
Investigators say Flores helped Omarion Owens escape Wednesday night from Christus St. Michael Health Center by allowing him access to a handcuff key and leaving him unsupervised in a restroom.
Owens was captured several hours later near Kennedy Lane. Authorities say physical evidence and witness interviews support the allegations against Flores.
