The Texas Department of Transportation says both westbound lanes of Interstate 30 in Texarkana will close overnight Wednesday as the I-30 widening project continues.
The closure is scheduled from 8 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday. Drivers will be detoured onto the frontage road at the Summerhill Road exit and can re-enter I-30 near Kings Highway.
TxDOT says crews will be placing a bridge deck in the area. Officials say the schedule could change because of weather or other unexpected issues.
