Texarkana Texas police say officers spotted Dakota Arnold at Walmart on New Boston Road and attempted to stop him. Arnold allegedly rammed a patrol car and fled.
His tires were damaged during the pursuit, slowing the vehicle to about 35 miles per hour. The chase continued onto FM 2148, Highway 67 and FM 991, where troopers stopped Arnold with the PIT maneuver.
Police say Arnold had also allegedly tried to steal about $585 worth of merchandise from Walmart. Methamphetamine was later found inside his vehicle.
Arnold faces charges including evading, drug possession and theft, along with his outstanding felony warrant. Passenger Deborah Walter, 59, was also arrested for theft.
