Teen Seriously Injured in Texarkana Crash

Texarkana, Texas Police are investigating a serious crash involving a teenager on a small electric bicycle.

The crash happened around 3:15 Thursday afternoon at West 15th and Mahaffey Streets. Police say the 17-year-old was struck by a vehicle and taken to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital with what appeared to be serious injuries.

The 27-year-old woman driving the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The investigation is ongoing.
